This URL is a JSON-RPC 2.0 endpoint over HTTP. Issue POST requests with a JSON-RPC body. Browsers and search crawlers land here on GET.

point_elevation — Elevation at a point (returns a 1-pixel raster URL — use opentopodata for direct point values).
dem — DEM raster for a bounding box (returns URL to GeoTIFF).
datasets — List available DEM datasets.
