Omit month for the newest published month (the IRS issues next month's rates mid-month). A month not yet issued returns status "not_yet_published" with the expected timing. Filter with term, compounding and percent to get a single rate. Use for family loans, installment sales, below-market loans and imputed interest. Returns the ruling number and data_as_of. Sourced from IRS, Applicable Federal Rates revenue ruling.irs_7520_rate — The IRS Section 7520 rate for a month (the interest rate used to value annuities, life estates, terms of years, remainders and reversions in estate and gift planning, and charitable remainder trusts), from the monthly IRS Applicable Federal Rates revenue ruling. Also returns the same ruling's section 382 long-term tax-exempt rate and the low-income housing credit percentages. Omit month for the newest published; an unissued month returns "not_yet_published" with expected timing. Returns the ruling number and data_as_of.
