"4.11.010" (AS 04.11.010) is alcohol-license requirements; "11.41.100" (AS 11.41.100) is murder in the first degree. Accepts natural forms: "4.11.010", "AS 04.11.010", "Alaska Statutes 11.41.100". Returns the current statutory text, the official catchline, and title/chapter context. Alaska publishes the CURRENT text only through this endpoint — no amendment-history line and no historical (pre-amendment) version; this tool says so rather than guessing. Keyless. Use for "what does AS 11.41.100 say" or to check an Alaska statute a case or lease relies on.ak_search — Search the Alaska Statutes BY TOPIC or keyword rather than citation — "alcohol license", "murder", "child custody". Matches against the Alaska Legislature's own official CHAPTER catchlines (942 of them, across all 47 titles) — NOT full statutory text or per-section catchlines; akleg.gov exposes neither keylessly (verified live). Returns matching title/chapter and the chapter catchline; call ak_statute with a full citation (you supply the section number) for the actual text.
